EPIC experience kits now available to check out at St. Cloud library

THE KITS ALLOW KIDS TO EXPLORE CAREERS IN 14 AREAS, INCLUDING HEALTH SCIENCE, IT, EDUCATOIN AND MANY MORE.

Central Minnesota kids will now have the opportunity to better explore their interests and potential careers in the comfort of their own homes.

EPIC Student Day shows off careers to high school students

MORE THAN 4,500 LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM 30 SCHOOLS WERE ON HAND AT SCTCC ON OCT. 27. TO DISCOVER JOB OPPORTUNITIES AFTER GRADUATION.

At the event, students could participate in hands-on activities, such as welding, robotics, a simulation of a birth and constructing a toolbox — to name a few.

A new face is in the role of connecting businesses and school districts to help students explore careers. Emily Davis is the new coordinator of Exploring Potential Interests and Careers (EPIC), a Central Minnesota community collaboration that provides experiences to empower people to discover and navigate career pathways, according to its website.
